It all comes down to the details.
1. Outer sheath for protection of filter mat.
The star-shaped filter mat is surrounded by a strong outer sheath of plastic material. Owing to the material properties, the oil is distributed uniformly over the mat, for maximum protection against damage.
2. Optimised four-layer filter mat structure.
Through the use of proven Betamicron®4 element technology, pressure loss at the filter element is minimised and dirt capture capacity increased by up to 30%.
3. Electrically conductive components.
The use of electrically conductive materials (special plastic and fleece layers) ensures that the electrical charge is dissipated reliably.
4. Zinc-free construction.
Even tiny leaks between the seal and filter housing directly cause engine soiling, and therefore additional wear. Accordingly, maintaining a tight fit even after many hours of use increases engine life.
5. Patented method of longitudinal welding.
This patented process makes the filter element better able to withstand dynamic loads. The filter mat ends are sealed along their entire length, preventing loose glass fibres from getting into the hydraulic circuit.
